Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Affectionate, sweet, gentle, good natured, a good listener, follows commands. This about sums up Claire’s personality. She can be quite shy at initials meets, but if you have treats on you, she will change her tune and greet you with some excitement 😊 Once she has her fill of exercise and stimulation, she is content to just cuddle with you. Pets and belly rubs while she lay beside you will make her very happy. Young and of 2 active breeds, Claire will need her daily doses of exercise and stimulation. She can keep up on hikes, runs and walks. When walking, Claire tends to keep her nose low to the ground. She puts her hound nose to good use! She has no ball drive but loves tug games for short periods. She loves chew toys. Intelligent, Claire welcomes training. She catches on tricks right away and boy, does she love her training sessions! When out and about, keep a good grip on the leash. Claire loves to chase anything that moves. Small creatures, even shadows of birds as they fly above. She barks to announce that small creatures are here to cause havoc! If Claire smells these creatures underground, she will dig to get to them! Claire barks in a mixture of excitement and 'hey, who are you' when she sees a dog on a walk. Off leash in enclosed areas, she is great with dogs. She will solicit plays.
Claire is a 2-year-old, 55lbs Shepherd Hound mix. She is housebroken and crate trained. Claire is looking for an active home that can provide her with lots of stimulation and exercise. Claire prefers a home with older kids as she may chase young active kids :/ Another note, Claire doesn’t do well in long car rides :/
