Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Missy was confiscated, along with 40-50 other animals, by Stanislaus County Animal Control when found living in terrible circumstances. She was approximately 6 months old, very dehydrated and malnourished, flea infested and had a severely injured tail. After proper medical care (including amputation of her tail) and nutrition Missy recovered well and has no residual medical problems.
For the 18 months I've had Missy she has blossomed into a sweet, fun little dog. She tends to be a bit timid, and would never challenge an Alpha dog, but plays well with others in general. One thing I absolutely love about her is that she DOES NOT BARK! (unless provoked or encouraged). She bonds well and wants to be anywhere her people are; enjoys riding in the car, taking walks, playing and cuddling. Because she is a bit skittish, I feel she would thrive in a family with school age children, but has done well with unpredictable toddlers and babies too.
