Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Experienced Beagle owners preferred and no apartments. Young 1–2-year-old beagle seeks human who is loving, caring, patient, energetic, fun, active, and will commit to training to help me become my best self. I am extremely LOUD, sweet, smart, boisterous, social, demanding, very active, cuddly, loving, and super fun. I get along well with my pack (6 dogs) and 3 cats. I enjoy walks in the park and running around at dog parks. I am never too tired to make new friends. Pastimes include but not limited to: rock collecting, hardcore playing, annoying every animal and human in the house, misbehaving, talking back, trash receptacle collecting, paper shredding, and regaining the love lost throughout the day with a puppy dog stare and cuddle that no human can resist. Superpower: Supersonic bark that bends everyone and everything to my will. I have a nose for trouble, and I think this is how I got lost. My nose carried me away until I did not know where I was. I was found wandering by animal control. I did not have any tags, nor was I microchipped, so my previous owners were never found. They loved me and put time into me as I already knew some commands. I missed them a lot and was sad for a while. I have some anxiety, especially in cars, but my foster parents say that I have improved greatly. I am 100% pure Beagle. If you think you can handle all of this, please fill out an application and we can see if we are a fit. The faint of heart need not apply. Woody, the Beagle.
We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
