My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Our new clinic opens 8/1/22! Our kittens are still looking for homes from our previous location though. Please send an email through here, or to AdoptTheKitties@yahoo.com directly as the current location has no staff yet. Please allow 1-3 days before expecting an answer.

Stormfly will be coming up for adoption soon! She is just waiting for her siblings to feel better and for her to get a little bigger before going to meet her new home. We are accepting people for her waitlist in the meantime!

Stormfly was born roughly April 18th, 2022. She was found abandoned with her siblings in Stafford, Va, and taken in by a good samaritan. When they reached 4 weeks old, they were given to our technicians to get the proper socialization and appropriate vaccines. Because they are so young, their personalities are just starting to come out. Kittens will not be adopted out until they are more stable and bigger for their own safety!

Update 7/1/22: We had a minor setback with the kittens last week. Someone found out how to steal their sibling's food, and set off everyone's tummies. Stormie had a couple bad days but has been feeling better ever since! She didn't loos too much weight and is back on the track of feeling better again. Stormie has transformed into the playful and loving kitten of the group. She is the first to scream hello to you and to run to wherever you are to greet you. She really enjoys riding around on shoulders as well.

Update 6/9/22: The babies have been doing well on their meds, and are now feeling better! Stormie is very confident and still enjoys being a shoulder kitten.

Update 6/5/22:The kittens have been battling coccidia this week! This can be normal for younger kittens in our area. They are responding well to meds and have been slowly recovering, though this takes a few weeks. All kittens have been slowly gaining weight despite their illness and have been playing well.
