Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*Our new clinic opens 8/1/22! Our kittens are still looking for homes from our previous location though. Please send an email through here, or to AdoptTheKitties@yahoo.com directly as the current location has no staff yet. Please allow 1-3 days before expecting an answer.
Have you been looking for the perfect cat? Goob is your man! Goober and his brother Boogie are two cats from a previous hoarding case off Route 1. Goob and Boog have been searching for their forever home since February 2022.
Goober was found with the worst URI his foster mom has ever seen, and she works at a vet! He could hardly see, let alone breathe, and needed daily medication and steam to feel better. Despite being snatched off the street while he was totally defenseless, that very same night he gave his first purr. He is a very thankful little man, and wants to repay that kindness by becoming the best cat ever.
Every time he sees you, he will rub against your legs so he can be picked up. He also has the loudest purr, and will give kisses! At home, he’ll leap into the nearest lap or chest and beg for belly rubs. He loves to sleep on your shoulder if given the chance. Want a movie watching buddy? You've found him! Dogs intrigue him and as long as they’re friendly, he gets along well. He will smack them if they get a little overzealous and in his face though. He may do well in a home with younger children who know to be gentle. He loves treats and can be easily trained with them!
While not required, he would very much enjoy getting adopted with his sibling, Boogie. Goob does seek out his brother when he wanders off, and will cry until he finds him again. He would eventually get over it if adopted separately, but if anyone can open their hearts to both boys we would be so grateful!
