ATDR 3688

Meet Meg, a stray who was recently sprung from the city shelter with a fractured femur and pelvis. She was released to the medical care of ATDR then and whisked away to our friends at Safari in League City. Meggie is a spayed dachshund mix female and walks with a stiff leg from a previous injury. She is approximately two years old and appears to have had little in her early life. Sadly our broken girl is also heartworm positive...so begins her long medical journey...

It was determined that Meg's injuries were old and unable to be repaired - they are fine and already healed.  Sadly she has a limp or walks on a stiff leg.  It doesn't slow her down a bit!  Meg is happy and going like a race horse - she needs a yard and some kids to play with and she will be one happy girl.  Meg is starting heartworm treatment asap!  Look for her to be available in July 2022
