My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Kendall. I'm a sweet and spunky girl with a playful side. My favorite pastime is playing in boxes. Oh don't worry about getting me any Christmas presents...just give me the boxes! I'll have the whole family giggling with my antics. I'm a curvy 3 y.o. who likes to snack but with the right routine for meals, we will easily reverse that little habit. I'd love to meet you, so grab a box and come see me in action!Call Helping Paws Animal Sanctuary at 239-283-9100 or if you’d rather just donate, our address is 10060 Mallory Pkwy E, Unit D, Saint James City 33956 or there’s always our website www.helpingpawsanimalsanctuary.com

More about this shelter

Adopting the unadoptable.
Providing abandoned and unwanted pets a second chance.

Helping Paws Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no kill shelter, housing almost 200 healthy cats and kittens, as well as special needs, FIV and FELV cats. They are housed in rooms not cages; waited on by loving volunteers, have toys, TV’s with cat videos and water fountains.

The goal of the shelter is to not only find them homes, but to provide a wonderful home for the cats while they are in our care.

We hope to someday provide an equally loving environment for dogs and other animals when we have a larger facility.
