Why hello! Thanks for checking out my bio. Oh wait, that means I have to actually tell you about myself. Well, I guess I will give it a go!
My name is Blanca and I'm around 7 yrs old and weight 18 lbs the perfect size to lay in your lap :). It feels so weird to say my name as where I came from, we didn’t have names, we just kind of all existed. I kept to myself and blended into the background. When I came to Pawprints Animal Rescue, I was really scared, and People were talking to me and petting me and I just kept freezing. I mean, how do you go from being invisible to being loved?
Well turns out being loved ain’t to bad. I love to follow my foster mom around. She gives me lots of these things called “belly rubs” and I just can’t get enough of them! She also gives me food and lots of treats. I will do ANYTHING for some kibble! My new home will be expected to give me all of that and more! I currently live with several kitties. I don’t mind them at all and usually keep to myself, I am pretty indifferent to other dogs too. I am fine to co-exist with them, but I don’t really care to interact much with them.
I think I would be happiest in a quieter household, you know, the kind that has very few visitors and just a couple of adults that live there. Car rides are a little scary for me, so if you like to stay home, I am your girl! My foster has been working hard on housebreaking me and I am doing really well. We have also been working on my leash walking skills. I get super excited when I see my harness because that means another adventure! I know I am asking a lot and my age might scare you off, but I want you to know that I WILL love you unconditionally. I just need someone to let me figure out who I am as an individual. Someone who will depend on me, just as much as I will depend on them.
Adoption Process:
Step 1: Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab. Adopters must live within 100 miles of Florence, KY.
Step 2: PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable)
Step 3: IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet.
​Step 4: If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit.
