Triton is a 4 year old male who is completely blind (no eyes)
Stop where you’re at and check out this adorable boy! He has been through a lot in his life and he needs us to help him. He is from the HS Delta hoarding/neglect case where we removed over 100 cats in November of 2021. His URI and eye infection was so severe that vets weren’t able to save his eyes. He was placed with one of our great local animal shelters, but they’ve had trouble adopting him out. He can be very spicy when you meet him, so it’s not always love at first sight. Losing his eyes caused him to take even more time to warm up to people. You have to keep in mind how many times he’s been moved around, on top of the health issues that he developed from a neglectful case. He’s healthy now, but he will never see light again. None of what has happened to him is his fault. He’s in a wonderful foster home now, but he’s still struggling to adjust. He will need a quiet home with little movement. You will have to prepare for him to take up to several weeks to decompress. We can walk you through those steps, but it will take time. He loves when you talk to him and when you read him books. He learns your voice over time and that’s when he feels like he’s safe. I know his person is out there, so please help us find them. He needs a HERO! Will you save him? 😻
🐾 His fee has been waived thanks to a special sponsor- Brooke!! Thank you so much!!
Someone please consider this boy! He needs you 😻

Our central mission is to rescue and rehabilitate cats and kittens that have been neglected, abandoned, abused, and/or suffer from debilitating medical conditions. Not only do we strive to rescue as many at-risk felines as possible, but to also educate and encourage local communities to join our rescue efforts.
Community Cats Central AR has grown from a one-bedroom foster into a network of fosters and volunteers specializing in neonatal kittens, senior cats, special needs cats, hospice cats, and injured cats/kittens in critical condition. All of our rescues are spayed/neutered and fully vetted prior to adopting them to loving homes.
