My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Sammy. Why is my nose red, you ask? Well, I wasn't too happy about being transported in a crate all the way from Southern OH to northern IL, so I rebelled by rubbing my nose on the crate. In retrospect, I don't think that was such a great idea, but everyone keeps telling me that it will heal in no time. I'm a sweet cuddle bug of a dog and have a very good temperament. I used to live with 2 other Shar Pei in the past, and my owner surrendered me at the pound due to divorce, but Stacey Moore saved my life and I'm very happy for that. She said I'm very alert and aware of my surroundings. I'm in Sugar Grove, IL right now waiting to have my eyes done and my teeth cleaned by Dr. Vidt next Wednesday. Then I'll be all ready to go to my new home. Could I come live with you? I'm really anxious to be a part of a family again. Please, please, please won't you adopt me? Love, Sammy.
