Greetings! Let me introduce myself, my name is Pepper. I am black Lab mix, 12 years young, weighing 78 lbs. and I’m looking to find a comfortable place to rest my head (I’m practicing for retirement). I am happy, friendly, extremely sweet and low maintenance. I spend most of my days laying quietly on my bed, basking in the sun on the patio and taking walks around my block. I am perfect for someone that wants and enjoys daily walks and life on the quieter side. I do have arthritis and am a little stiff after I sit for a while (who isn’t?) however, if you call "treats or dinner" watch me hustle! I’m certainly not going to be running any marathons, but I get around just fine. My foster mom and I have been taking daily walks and I’ve recently lost 3 lbs. I feel much better, have more energy, and have gained a pep in my step (My foster mom calls me PepPep). I have lived with other dogs but really prefer my own company. My foster mom has parrots and boy are they loud, but I pay them no attention and I have not been around cats.
My foster mom says I am a champ at taking car rides and praises me for hopping in on my own.
If you enjoy life on the quiet side, walks in the sunshine, have no small children or dogs, I’m your gal!
