My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Intake Date: 7 May 2022 ----- Age at Intake: 10 wks ----- Breed: Husky Boxer Mix----- Size: medium to large ----- Status: Owner Surrender ----- Compatible with: dogs, children, cats----- Suitable for: home with a securely fenced yard. ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: None noted ----- Additional Notes: Joee is an adorable little fella! He was adopted from the local shelter and not a right fit for an older woman with an older yorkie.... Screening and matchmaking is so important for everyone's sake. How sad for all involved but he is here now and we will try our best to make his next move his last! Joee is an active pup. He is also quite mouthy so likely was adopted out too young and taken from his mother and littermates too young. But it is fixable and we are working on it. He also has a little bit of separation issues and can be vocal about it at first. Typical husky back talking :) . Puppies will require dedicated owners who will socialize and teach them lots because they can learn LOTS. Puppies are an 18 year commitment and require a proper start. Regular and Repeat Training, socializing, vetting. If you are not prepared for that lifelong commitment, do not apply. They deserve a committed family. And a right start to a well adapted adult dog starts NOW. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is mandatory.
