My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Jake is a handsome young short hair Jack Russell Terrier/Mix weighing about 19 lbs. about 1 year 9 months old. Jake very shy but, he does  enjoys the company of other dogs.  This little guy is crate trained but Jake will need continued training, he does admirably well and surely has the “right stuff”. Like so many rescues, Jake’s beginnings were less than ideal. Yet this boy absolutely looks to be loved. With the right guidance, Jake will continue learning to receive love. His social skills are constantly improving, his trust in humans is growing daily but needs someone that knows about dogs with special needs. He  is such a tender and sweet boy to welcome into your home. Jakes Ideal home is a House  with an enclosed back yard is required, so he can run and play safely.  Also, Jake would also prefer someone who is home often  does not like walking on a leash ,would need work.      For more information go to www.FureverHomeRescue.dog  Jake is waiting for you!!!

More about this rescue

Furever Home Rescue is a new rescue that offers another chance to animals that were no longer wanted or has been abandoned at shelters. We rescue and care for them with love, patience and rehabilitation so they can to become amazing companions.

Although we do specialize in dogs in the working and herding groups we are NOT a breed specific rescue.

We save dogs because we believe they deserve to live the rest of their lives with love and dignity. We are advocates for all dogs who cannot be advocates for themselves. Our dogs are in foster homes or boarded until permanent homes can be found for them. With your generous assistance, we can provide care, nurturing, and rehabilitation to these and other animals that otherwise would not have made it out of area shelters.

Please help us help them by Donating Today!
