My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Raya is an eight-year-old girl who came to us from a shelter in the South just in the nick of time. She was on her final days and we couldn't leave this little girl behind. At the shelter, she was presented with some skin issues and possibly other health issues. After seeing our veterinarian we determined Raya does suffer from arthritis and achy joints but is overall a healthy girl. She is now on daily medication and supplements to help with her joints. As we age, our joints dont work as properly as they want to but with supplements we can live a normal life. Raya has no restrictions other than finding a home with minimal stairs. She will need the use of a ramp to get in a car or onto the couch. Jumping puts a lot of stress on front joints and we recommend ramps instead of jumping out of the vehicle for all dogs but especially seniors.

Raya loves to go on her daily walks with you and would love to have a fenced in yard to lay around outside in. She is a big talker and will woo-woo to tell you all about it and what she wants. She has lived in a home before and knows how to sit, is crate trained and is potty trained. Her favorite thing to do is go between your legs to get a butt scratch :)

Raya would do best as an only pet in the home and no small kids. Raya is looking for a simple life and has a lot of love still to give.
