Meet SYDNEY
Another young life saved from the over-crowded shelters in Utah is looking for his second chance at furever though Friends Furever Animal Rescue.
Thanks to the generosity of a repeat foster family, 3 - 4 year old, friendly SYDNEY is decompressing and trying to learn about living in a home.
We think that SYDNEY is boxer/lab/mastiff mix as he has the lab coat and lab-type demeanor, and super goofy like a boxer with unique face.
SYDNEY lived with kids, dogs, chickens, and rabbits in his finder’s home. Foster home says that he is fine with dogs and hasn’t bothered the cats at all even when they run across the floor. He recently met a bigger dog and played nicely--wasn't too rough or crazy. SYDNEY is well-behaved when he is behind baby gates at the foster pet grooming salon.
SYDNEY doesn’t seem to like toys, but that may come with time. He would rather be with people; He’s super snuggly.
SYDNEY is great in the crate. He goes in and sleeps in there on his own. He whines a little bit but quiets down when you tell him to.
Although SYDNEY is good in the car (likes to stick his nose out the window), and he is good about walking on a leash now, he still has a few things to learn. Foster mom is working on ‘sit’ and they are trying to figure out if he is housetrained or just likes to mark. Neuter surgery in a few days will help with that.
SYDNEY’s adoption comes with current vaccines, neuter, and microchip.
