I was part of a litter of puppies (born around 3/3/2022) that witnessed our mama get hit by a car on the highway. We were very sad to lose our mama, but the people at Safe Haven have been taking such wonderful care of us! My siblings’ names were Bingley, Wickham, Lizzy, and Jane, so everyone called our group `The Pride and Prejudice Puppies.` I guess we were named after characters in a story by Jane Austen. The vet says that we are probably a mix of a lot of things but mentioned Labrador, Mastiff, and maybe even St. Bernard!!! Whoa! I guess we may grow up to be BIG. I absolutely love spending time with my people and other dogs, and I love learning new things. Could you possibly be in my future and help to turn my tale of woe into a classic story of love?
Lots of `little big love` and sloppy kisses, Mr. Darcy
Note from Safe Haven: The Pride and Prejudice puppies were very skinny upon their arrival at Safe Haven, and they may be prone to being protective of their food. To help prevent problems, we have made sure each one of them is comfortable eating in a crate. Mr. Darcy is very enthusiastic about spending time with his people and other dogs, and he loves learning new things. He earned his STAR Puppy Certificate in October of 2022, and he is well on his way to becoming a well-behaved adult. Mr. Darcy is looking for an active home that will continue his training.
