Come meet Messi!

This big ole boy has been looking for a forever home for over a year now! We pulled him from a partner shelter hoping to give him a fresh start, and shelter staff have been quick to fall in love with him!

Messi is a 2 year old lab mix: he is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. Messi spent a year with a trainer/behaviorist in foster and has very good manners! He walks well on leash, LOVES to play in water in true lab fashion, gets along well with other dogs, and does well with everyone he has met so far.

Messi is a VERY smart boy; he has an intelligent eye and is always thoughtful and curious of his surroundings. Being such a smart, strong-willed dog, we think an experienced dog owner or family would be the best fit for Messi, so that he has the structure he needs to really thrive during his transition from shelter to home!
