Welcome Daisey to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 1 year old Australian Cattle Dog/Great Pyrenees is our best guess. She is about 40 pounds full grown. She had a litter of puppies and the owner shot them and her. She didn’t die so the man took her into Devine vet. They took her in and got the bullet wound handled. She was hairless. They gave CCPAL the medication and she now has regrown almost all her hair. She is a little timid due to her experience but she bonds deeply to the person/persons that show her love. She is a wonderful dog and she gets along well with other dogs at the Rescue of all personalities. She is in good shape now and is looking for her forever home. She is also being treated for heartworms. She is spayed and ready for her forever home. Big thank you goes out to the Devine Vet for caring for Daisey. CCPAL has done a great job getting her to trust and love people again. She would do best in a moderately active home. She could be in a home with shared walls as she is relatively quiet. A smaller yard would be fine with her. She is fine on walks and really wants to do what you want. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 250 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states
