Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nellie #9600 is an adorable 2.5-year-old female Jack Russell Terrier mix. She is a shy little gal seeking a foster/adopter who will help her to blossom. She walks well on a leash. Nellie didn’t pay attention to the cats at LCAR. She is most receptive when you exhibit gentle and slow interactions. The perfect family for Nellie would be one who can be patient with her and help her to open up. She came to us Ehrlichia positive and is seeking a foster/adopter who will continue LCAR’s provided treatment at no cost to the foster/adopter. She weighs 18 pounds and is full grown. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks, so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. This pup, like all pups, should be on heartworm preventative; an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. If you are interested in adopting this dog, and are already approved to adopt through our organization, please contact dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with the pup’s name and ID number in the subject line. OTHERWISE, please submit an adoption application online: https://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoption-request-form/ E-mail dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions.
