Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sheba #9606 is a gorgeous 6-year-old female Rottweiler mix. Typical of her breed, she is fiercely loyal and protective of her people. Sheba is both house and crate trained, but does not enjoy being in the crate. She has a high energy level. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. Sheba did well living with children aged 6 and 11. Her favorite activities are playing and receiving attention and love. She is perfectly happy to be your shadow and follow you everywhere you go. When she was lighter in weight and agile, this Houdini could get over a 6 foot fence; she should not be left unattended in the backyard. She should be the only dog in the home. We are seeking an adopter with breed experience. Sheba came to us with Lyme's disease. We are seeking a foster/adopter who will continue LCAR's provided treatment at no cost. She weighs 81 pounds but should lose a few pounds to be at a healthy weight. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks, so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. This pup, like all pups, should be on heartworm preventative; an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. If you are interested in adopting this dog, and are already approved to adopt through our organization, please contact dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with the pup’s name and ID number in the subject line. OTHERWISE, please submit an adoption application online: https://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoption-request-form/ E-mail dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions.
