Phoebe was rescued from a family who lost their home. She and all the other cats in the house were thrown outside to fend for theirself. Luckily, we got them soon after so they didn't have to be out there for long. She is very shy; sweet, but not confident, so she would do best in a home with no other pets. She's a good girl and loves attention, but will take time to warm up to someone new, so she will need alot of patience. It will be worth it.
If you are interested in adopting from Cat Posse, please visit our website, www.catposse.org and fill out the application on the cats page. You can also contact Sharon at sebastian_sophie@yahoo.com to have an application either e-mailed or faxed to you.

More about this rescue
The Cat Posse is a group of individuals devoted to rescuing and rehabilitating unwanted and abused cats in Southern California. We educate our communities about the importance of spaying and neutering, and we believe that all animals deserve dignity and kindness as we work toward the day when all public shelters will be "no kill".
