This little girl is just a wisp of a dog. She weighs 7 lbs and is about 7 years old. We have no history on her except that she was in a shelter in Texas for a very long time. We can’t imagine how terrifying that must have been for such a tiny soul. She is coming out of it slowly but is not comfortable with the large dogs in her foster home. Who could blame her? She is sweet as can be and would like nothing more than to snuggle in a lap all day long. She does have a wonky gait due to a luxating patella in her hip. She has been seen by our vet and it is not causing her any discomfort. A word of caution: Blaze is a professional escape artist. Like Houdini. Because she is so small she can slip through a doorway without being detected. Extra precautions will need to be in place to assure her safety. She is considered a flight risk because she thinks chasing is a game and will run from you. Blaze’s ideal home would be a quiet household with folks who are home a lot. She’s a good choice for an apartment and/or retired folks or people who work from home. A busy house or a house with children will NOT be considered due to her flight risk. She is not cat tested but most cats will be bigger than she is so it shouldn’t be an issue. If you are looking for a constant companion who will be totally devoted to you, this could be your gal. If you are interested in meeting Blaze, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home including pets. Blaze is spayed, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. Her adoption fee is $350 and we are not doing any out of state adoptions.
