Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zeus is a high energy, affectionate 10-month-old German Shepherd, Border Collie, Husky, something mix who found himself in a high kill shelter he wasn't going to make it out of. He was pulled into another shelter to give him a better shot at adoption. Southpaw Rescue pulled him from there to bring him into a home environment.

Zeus is being fostered in a home with two other large dogs and older children. He loves to play and would do best in a home with another dog his size. Zeus is gentle with the kids in his foster home, but because of his energy, shouldn’t be in a home with small children he might accidently knock down.

Through no fault of his own, Zeus has bounced around a lot in his young life. Therefore, he will need an experienced dog owner who is willing to have patience with him and allow him time to settle into a new environment and a new routine. We are looking for someone who is willing to work with Zeus on his manners and potty training.

Zeus is currently in a foster home with cats and chickens. Both get Zeus overly excited. Though he is not aggressive, it would be better for the cats and chickens to not have Zeus wanting to chase them.

Zeus really wants to learn and please his foster family. He would be a great dog for an active family with another medium to large dog. Once Zeus knows he has found his special forever home, he will be a really fantastic addition to an active and fun-loving person/family.
