My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous fluffy boy is FRANK! Look at those adorable and beautiful green eyes! FRANK arrived at the shelter on 05/03 and he’s now available for adoption. Frank is current on his vaccines and will be neutered and microchipped when adopted. Unfortunately, Frank has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Since the virus can be transmitted to healthy cats, he should be in an only cat household or one with other FIV+ cats. Though cats with FIV may appear healthy for years, they have a compromised immune system that eventually will cause them to be susceptible to illnesses. Frank's ID at the shelter is 636148 and he is waiting to meet you in cage 666.

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
