Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Storm is a super sweet and friendly kitty recently arrived in NoVa and has an incredible story to tell. She is friendly, and affectionate. Estimated to be 1-2 years old, she is curious and wants to be involved and around people.
If Storm was an author, she would be have a bestselling adventure book because she was involved in the storms last month in rural Georgia. People were watching a funnel cloud in their neighborhood throwing debris, heard something loud and a significant thump against their fence, and when they investigated, they found that Storm had been thrown out of the funnel cloud, hit the fence, and was dazed but not significantly injured. She was taken to the vet who was amazed that she had no broken limbs or fractures, and her cuts, bruises, and trauma are now behind her. We don’t know if she was in a tree or a yard when she was caught up, but we’re thankful that she is safe and healthy now.
Storm is beautiful with bright calico colored fur and with very distinct and striking markings. She is fine with other low-key kitties but would be perfectly fine being an “only” with lots of time for pets and snuggles.
While Storm loves to play, she also enjoys gazing out the window at birds, and snuggling beside family while watching Netflix (she lets you choose the show).
Fully vetted, combo tested and microchipped, she’s ready to spend “stay at home” time with a lucky family or person. She always uses her litter box. Storm will need a person who understands it make take her a few days to feel acclimated and safe, and then will be a wonderful lifelong companion.
