My story

Meet Summer ☀️ a special needs cat with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. She's such a strong girl! She falls but gets right back up for pets! ❤️

This beautiful cat was on her own being cared for by a good samaritan that has cared for several stray cats in his neighborhood. In late Fall, he noticed some neighborhood kids would pick on Summer since she was an easy target and could not run away as fast as other stray cats.

Summer has poor balance on both back legs and an uncoordinated walk as well as mild head tremors which are all symptoms of Cerebellar Hypoplasia. She has been seen by both our primary and neurological veterinarians. Summer can live a full life as a special needs cat!

Over the last few months, she has gained so much more confidence when walking and it shows! Summer is now in need of a home that has experience with cats with her condition or is willing to learn how to care for one. She is extremely friendly, LOVES cuddles, and enjoys sunbathing on the deck. She gets so excited when she sees her harness because she knows it's outside time!

The adoption fee is $175. This fee covers veterinary exams, current vaccinations, FELV/FIV tests, deworming, flea/tick treatment, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery done while in foster care.
