My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing this sweet, cutie pie we have proudly named Midnight; She became lost and came to the shelter on 5/ 6. Midnight is a beautiful 8 year old and weighs 44 lbs. She knows basic commands such as sit when asked and being as intelligent as she is, this precious baby may know more and is eager to know more. She may be house trained. She has a wound on her leg and it is unknown how she received it. She is very friendly and she may have had a few litters sometime in her life and despite everything she has gone through, she still shines an upbeat, positive attitude. Midnight is a very lovable soul who is wishing for the right family to come along and give her a warm, welcoming home filled with love, guidance and plenty of hearty, warm meals to fill her belly. She deserves all of this and more. We hope you are the right family to give her everything she needs and wants. She does not deserve to be in a loud shelter in her golden years. She is up to date on vaccines, and will be tested for heart worms and will be micro chipped upon adoption. She cannot be spayed at the shelter due to her age.Midnight will be patiently waiting for your loving arms to scoop her up from Run 404 and her ID is 636230.

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
