In the world of rescue there are written stories snd unwritten stories. The ones we know of and the scars left behind.

For this girl, we know she is 56 lbs. We know she is a hound mix. We know she wants a family and a couch all to her own. We know she is house and crate trained and we know she can roam freely through the house when the humans are not home. We know she has been here longer than all her pup pals.

As for her scars- We know she has had puppies before and is not a fan of small dogs or gun ho dogs from being a momma. We know that she has been in a situation where she ground her teeth off. We know she hates thunder storms. And all these scars make her beautiful.

Despite the scars over her 2.5 years of age, this girl loves her humans and looks to them for strength sometimes. She wants to cuddle and be loved and rubbed. Autumn is super calm and just would rather chill inside than be outside. She just wants a family of her own where she can be loved. Autumn is up to date on all vaccines and preventatives. She is waiting for YOU in Mechanicsburg.

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
