My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rue came to us when a local emergency clinic reached out asking if we would take her. She was found by a Good Samaritan in the middle of the road with a severely broken front leg. She had no microchip or collar, so she came very close to being euthanized. Because she is so incredibly sweet, she was given pain meds and a temporary splint for the night, and we were contacted the next day - of course we couldn’t say no to her sweet face!
Rue spent the next 8 weeks on strict rest with a cast so her leg could heal. There was a time where we didn’t know if we would have to amputate or not, but she showed us she’s quite the trooper and her leg healed! You wouldn’t even know by watching her run and play now - it does not slow her down one bit!
