Everyone has a story of their very own, makes us who we are. For this sweet girl we just do not know a whole lot. We know that she came from an 'overcrowding' situation and lived with a number of other dogs. She came to us with her pal, Redford. He is one handsome guy with one blue eye. We were told there could be Siberian Husky in their DNA...we have not verified that...but it is a possibility. Stori has met so many families that have commented on her look and says she looks like a "mini-Rottweiller!!" Well, who knows, there may have been some Rottweiller, or German Sheperd influence in her genes.
And yes, Stori has met so many people. As of late we have had families coming out to meet other dogs, some that can be a little shy. It helps to have another social and outgoing dog a part of the meet/greet to sort of break the ice with the less social dog and the new family. Works every time. The other dogs have been adopted, but our little social butterfly is still waiting for her happily ever after. I guess she just does not have the looks that really grab someones attentions, but she certainly has the personality!!
Stori has one eye with one blue fleck in it, quite unique and almost not noticeable all the time. Since she does not have much of a history, it is time for her own story to begin, and that should surely be with a happy, active family. Stori is the kind of girl that does not vie for all of the attention, she seems like she has been accustomed to sort of wait in the wings while someone else is getting all the glory.
Well, it is certainly her time to shine, she is an incredibly girl. Stori is just 2 years old and just about 30 pounds, so she is a small/medium size and you could assume she is full grown at this point. She is a sweet, lovely and affectionate girl. She gets along great with everyone and has been great. Stori is such a WONDERFUL dog, sweet, playful and affectionate, she LOVES everyone, we wonder why she does not have more interest?? I guess she has that look that does not catch everyone's attention, she is not large, she is not small and fluffy...but she is perfect!!
Stori is well mannered, lady like,but also loves to play. She is young and will do well in an active home, please, no long hours, she will not do well being left alone for long periods. Her adoption fee is $300, now $275, and she will go home with over $200 worth of supplies to help her settle into her new home. Please email Kristine at joysparrows@gmail.com.
