Hello there! My name is Steve and I've come all the way from Northern Manitoba to find my furrever family. I'm on the smaller side for a shepherd mix, but that just means that I can get even closer to you for cuddles, which I absolutely love. I am super friendly and outgoing, and just love to be around people. I am house trained and would love a home where I can sleep in a bed of my own that's close by my new owner's bed. My energy level is best described as medium - I like to go on long walks, but also like my sleep. I am a very good boy on leash, but I can get a little bit distracted if I see a rabbit or squirrel. After all, they were meant to chase! I am still learning how to play with toys, but I go crazy for anything that squeaks or rolls. I am very well behaved with other dogs and am always happy and excited to meet someone new. I'm currently staying with cats, but do like to chase them, so a cat free home would be ideal for me.
