Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome black lab mix is Chopper! His family could no longer care for him so he was turned in to the shelter on 5/10. Chopper's family did mention that he is house trained, so that's good news! He's hoping he doesn't have a long stay here because he's got better things to do like play fetch and run outside! Chopper has that goofy, playful lab personality that will win you over in no time!
Chopper is approximately 3 years old and weighs 60 lbs. He is current on his vaccines and has been neutered and microchipped. He will also be heart worm tested upon adoption. Please come meet this amazing boy in run 10, his ID # is 636309.
Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
