A little bit about Mishmish:
This classic Egyptian Mau was found on the streets of Egypt when he was a kitten. As happens all too often in Egypt, his mother was nowhere to be found.
Malnourished, crying and afraid, he was picked up by a kind lady and was brought to her home.
Because of the pandemic, this lady has come upon challenging times and is no longer able to keep Mishmish. She has to move and she cannot take them with her. Devastated but with little choice, she had to give him up. She would never trust anyone in Egypt as people in Egypt don't have respect for animals. That’s where we come in. ?
From his foster Mom: “Mishmish is a very engaged, active, and communicative cat. He will meow to tell you when he is hungry, wants to play, wants affection, or when he can't find you. He loves to play. He's quick to turn a petting session into a play session as well (he likes to bite, but he does it really gently, and will follow it by licking you – he thinks of you as a fellow cat). He likes to be near his human and loves attention and affection. Occasionally he will come for a cuddle, but he mostly prefers being beside me or actively being pet. He is very confident and was super quick to feel at home. He is totally fine with other people. A huge personality!”
Mishmish is best suited as the only pet in a quiet and calm home. A retired couple, a family with adult children or a couple with no children would be ideal or this handsome fella.

PINK’s adoption fee is determined on a cost-recovery basis which includes the pet’s vetting (varies for each animal depending on the situation and circumstance of their rescue), microchip, up to date shots, de-worming, de-fleaing, spay/neuter, all travel and flight costs, government mandated fees (in Egypt and Canada).
