My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approx DOB: April 2017

After spending quite a bit of time roaming the city streets, Levon (ID#22036) has settled into his foster home very well. He is a very low-key fellow and is really just looking for some humans to love who will love him back…forever. He is quite content to just follow you around for pets, watch the world go by from a window seat, or sack out on the couch while you are working or watching television. His signature move is the head bump so you will give him a kiss on his forehead.

Levon was pretty beat up when he was found and is learning to trust that the other cats in his home aren’t out to hurt him. He would do ok in a home with another cat, however, he would be his happiest self as your only feline love. He would prefer a home with no dogs.

Levon contracted FIV while living on the streets as an unneutered male cat. However, he is a healthy boy and as long as he is given proper vet care and a good quality diet, just like any cat should, he can live a long and happy life.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80

Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations.

If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.

Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend. Furry Friends Network provides our foster homes with food, litter, crates/carriers as needed and miscellaneous other supplies as well as veterinary care.
