My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This northern girl will steal your heart as she nuzzles her head into your lap. Teddi has impeccable manners, she’s a great listener and is just so special all around, she would make an amazing addition to ANY family!
Teddi came from a northern Manitoba reserve, unfortunately pregnant, but had 4 beautiful, healthy pups while here in foster care. All pups have been adopted and now it’s finally Teddi’s turn to find a family to love her like she deserves.
We think this amazingly smart girl is a mix of shepherd, husky and border collie (our best guess anyway). She loves a game of fetch, she comes when called, sits and loves to give high 5s. Because she is also the best in squirrel patrol, she will need a home without cats or pocket pets.
Teddi LOVES going for walks. She walks well on leash until those pesky squirrels come into play. Teddi would benefit from a gentle leader to help guide her away. She can be reactive to some dogs on leash and others are no bother. She’s very eager to please and is a super fast learner. Proper, slow introductions to new doggie friends would be helpful.
Teddi’s ideal home would have a large fenced yard so she can safely run and chase sticks ands balls and not be distracted by squirrels across the street. She’s amazing with all people, big and small, even strangers. Teddi’s foster home has a senior dog as well as a small dog and she gets along well with both. She would be happy with or without a fur sibling.
This girl just wants to give you love !!
