If you visit the shelter lobby and hear an insistent “MEROWWW” from up above, it’s just Tawny perched in the cat walk asking for you to come visit her. And you obviously have to oblige!
As her name suggests, this petite tabby has the most beautiful tawny-colored eyes and a coat to match. She loves people and always wants to see what you’re doing in the lobby and office. As soon as you walk in her colony room, though, she’s down from the cat walk in a flash to come say hi and collect the pets and scratches you owe her. She can sometimes get a tiny bit jealous of the other cats, especially if you say hi to them before her. But overall, she gets along pretty well with her colony mates. Basically, Tawny is just a strong, confident girl who knows what she wants, and will chatter and talk to you until she gets it. She’s as sweet and friendly as can be, though, and just wants to be loved. Will you be the lucky one she picks to take her home?
