My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to go to our website at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to complete the Adoption Application*** Coral came to us with her siblings Conrad & Connie. Coral is the most shy of the bunch, having just started letting us pet her a tiny bit at a time. She's never bitten or hissed at us, she's just uncomfortable with human touch. Her brother Conrad is helping a little bit with her shyness, but it is a process & any potential adopter would need to keep that in mind or just be OK with having a kitty friend who doesn't want to cuddle & doesn't like a lot of commotion, like most of the cats in the blue room with her. That being said, she does get along with the other kitties in her room, so another calm cat to help her socialization a little would be great for her, maybe consider adopting her with one of her siblings? Connie would be a great balancing personality addition with Coral. Coral is spayed & up to date on vaccinations. As always all cat & kitten adoption fees are a free will donation for approved applicants

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
