My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BLAKE IS A COURTESY POST MALE 65LB 3 yrs old He is at a local boarding facility BUT NEEDS OUT & INTO A HOME. He is housebroken./ has been in the boarding facility for over a year so will need crated and put on a schedule in his new home. Blake is dog friendly (but we haven't introduced him to something under 30 pounds) He loves everyone he meets, loves attention, going on outings to the pet store, and the company of other dogs. He is Not cat safe and is the reason he lost his home.

if interested please fill out an application at ajssearchandrescue.org and we will forward it to the kennel that he is at in Mentor Ohio

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The first step in Adopting one of our animals is to fill out an application on our website. Once approved to adopt we will set up a meet and greet, so any current household animals, family (kids) can all meet with the new foster animal. Our fees are based upon the age of the animal and the medical involved. Dog fees range from $200.00 - $400.00
We also have kittens and their fee is $120.00

We do require all adopters to sign a contract and sign our medical documentation sheet.

More about this rescue

AJ's Search and Rescue Is an animal rescue which was founding in Sept 2016. The rescue is named after our founders first "Foster Failure". Angela aka AJ, fostered over 140 dogs through a previous organization, which lead her to adopting (foster failing) her 125 foster dog (Serchee).

As time went on AJ decided it was time to start yet another business and this time it was a non-profit 501c3 animal rescue. All animals that come through our organization are in foster homes, which allows a new adopter to know more about the animals in many aspects.

Any and all donations and adoption fees go towards proper medical care and feeding all our animals.

We strive to get animals off the streets and into new homes so they can live a wonderful life.
