HISTORY: This stunning beauty was dumped on the streets of Egypt along with her brother, Sylvester. Luckily a kind passer by noticed them in distress and took them both home. Monica and her brother were scooped up before they spent too much time on the streets. They are so fortunate to have escaped the trauma of street life in Egypt.
PERSONALITY/CHARACTER:
• Monica LOVES kisses
• Lap cat extraordinaire (as you can see in her video)
• Adores people; loves to be picked up
• Will hang out with you on the couch and sleep with you at night
• Chirps when she is happy
• Super affectionate; she can’t get and give enough hugs, pets/rubs and kisses
• Very intelligent and interactive with humans
• Trusts humans
• Sweet
• Gentle
• Active and playful – typical of a young cat; loves to run and play with toys and humans. She is very gentle when she plays with humans (again, as you can see in the video). She likes to climb and would do well with a tall scratch tree. The taller, the better for this athlete.
• Likes to look out the window to watch Nature TV :)
• Good with children as long as they are calm, kind and respectful (i.e. no pulling tails or picking her up against her will)
• Good with other cats but is also fine on her own
IDEAL HOME ENVIRONMENT: Mesmerizing Monica would do well in any loving home where she can feel safe, secure and never fear being abandoned again.
