My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammy is a sweet boy that has been through a lot. His owner was a elderly woman who has ended up going into a mental facility and we were asked to take him and his brother Nicky. He was kept in a crate for most of his life, which affected his legs. It has taken him a couple of months to get his mobility back but he gets around really well, he just trots along and sometimes his back legs give out but he gets up and keeps on going. Sammy came out of it with a bit more issues that his brother. He had to have one of his eyes removed( he is all healed and his other eye is fine) and has some digestion issues so he is on a prescription food that he is doing awesome on. He is potty trained and will go to the door to let you know he needs to go out. He gets startled when you come up behind him , so a home with NO children is needed. He can also be protective of his space as his vision is impaired from the eye being gone, so he will snap at other dogs out of fear not aggression. Sammy LOVES to be outside so a home with a yard is a must. He will need a quiet home where he can chill out and just be loved.

He is neutered, current on vaccines, micro chipped, had a dental cleaning and dewormed.
