8 month old and 31Lb Taylor is a sweet, soft, happy, affectionate, friendly, active, and playful girl. Best guess is she’ll be in the 40-45Lb range full grown. Her breed mix is a mystery, though hailing from Kauai she likely has some (sight) hound in her.
Taylor still has plenty of puppy enthusiasm, which makes sense since at 8 months she still is a puppy. She’s also smart and very treat motivated. She needs an active person/family who views the prospect of going through training classes with her a fun way to create a special bond and of benefit to all involved.
Once she gets her leash walking skills down she’s going to make the best hiking companion. We’d say she even has running partner potential. You should see her move and the smile on her face when she’s doing yard zoomies. A home with a yard big enough for her to race around in is a must.
She might be too big to be a lap dog, but she’ll happily snuggle up into you. She’s playful with other dogs and loves toys. She’d pair up nicely with another playful dog companion so long as they wouldn’t be overwhelmed by her puppy antics. She’s a little too mouthy and jumpy right now to do well around smaller kids, but she's easy to redirect when she does so a little more training and she'll quickly get a handle on being more gentle. She really does want to be a good girl for you.

Taylor is spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and up to date on vaccinations and preventative. Her adoption fee is $380. She is being fostered in NE Portland
