Olive..well that brings to mind a bitter and salty, and certainly an acquired taste. I can say I am not really a fan, maybe a little more tolerable since being an adult, preferably dunked in a Bloody Mary-lol! But, live and learn, not all Olive's are the same! This little Olive just happens to be quite the opposite of what her name suggests, she is sweet and very pleasing to all.
In food terms she could be a little bit more of a s'more, or a lil' apple dumplin, but Olive is a cute name for a precious girl. Olive has yet to meet a stranger, she loves everyone, and the feeling has been quite mutual, everyone that meets Olive so happens to be quite smitten.
We totally understand. She is just 5 months old, and just a tad over 20 pounds. Olive is so loving, playful, snuggly, silly,and everything you would want out of a puppy and your perfect forever four footed pal. Now that the weather has warmed up we realize what a love Olive has for water, she is a little swimmer! We are totally guessing on the breed(s). She looks like a mini German Shepard, but she also could be Mini-Aussie with her looks, cropped tail and tri-coloring. At her age, and such a diminutive size, she will be a small/medium dog, just perfect for the family that would love an active dog but does not really want the size of a larger dog.
So, with all the designer breeds these days, maybe she was a planned pup, or perhaps an oops litter, we really do not know. We do know she is pretty darn awesome, smart, gentle, playful and a little snuggle girl. She is doing terrific on her housebreaking(very frequent potty breaks), she sleeps thru the night in her crate, and gets along wonderfully with her other dog pals.
Olive is looking for an active home with hopefully and another dog and a fenced yard, or someone that will do plenty of leash walking/hiking/playing outdoors. She may not be the best dog for apartment living, she does need plenty of activity. Olive is such a gorgeous little girl, inside and out, she will be a blessing to some lucky family!!
