My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Patty has been here for TOO LONG! Patty came to us years ago with 8 puppies and being bred for all 5 years of her life, at the time. All puppies were adopted quickly but Patty was confused why she was left behind. Due to her past, she can take some time to trust you. She is extremely food motivated and that's all she needs to like you, treats! She can use some leash training, but she is very smart, and we have not a doubt that she will kill it. Once she loves you, she loves you forever. She loves playing with sticks and tennis balls. Please give Patty a chance, she will make it worth it. Patty is waiting to love on her person and to finally call a real home, hers.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit, no kill spca. We will adopt out as many animals as we can, but if they never get homes, that's fine, either us workers will take them home, or they will be life time residents. They love it at the shelter. We do not house our dogs in kennels, they have big yards to run in all day, and only sleep in kennels at night. We are one unique shelter.
