Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Petey is a 2/3 year-old orange tabby, male, Manx cat. He has been out on his own for at least two years, living under a mobile home in a mobile home park. He was rescued on March 30th, mainly because he had an injury to one of his front legs that required surgery and stitches.
Petey is a joy to have around. Every evening he joins us for movie night and doesn’t budge sitting next to us. Now you can’t even sneak to the living room without him following us. He knows where we went. It the highlight of the day for him. I sometimes leave my office door open so he can come out, however because of the dogs, he prefers not to (even though the dogs never go up to him. He lays next to our terrier Murphy on the sofa, however if Murphy comes to close where he is touching him…. Petey with take a swipe.
Petey hops like a bunny, which is cute, but due to the Manx syndrome. Petey is also an FIV kitty who is healthy and can live a long and normal life like any kitty. If you are interested in Petey, please reach out. It’s time he had a safe home where I’m sure he will continue to blossom. Call/text his foster mom Penny at 503-851-5377.
