My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yumi (which means beautiful in Japanese) is a playful, friendly and happy little girl. Her mother was a police dog and Yumi is very smart also. She listens very well and learns quickly. She is great with other dogs and cats, and great with kids of all ages as well as adults. I believe she would do well with an active, outdoorsy family with a good sized yard where she can run around and get lots of exercise. She loves attention and doesn't like to be all alone. She would do best in a family with another dog or cat to play with, and a human child to run around with too. She is very lovable and loves being held and cuddled. Malinois are protective of home and family and potential adopters would benefit from doing a bit of research on the intelligence and temperament of these dogs. They do well with kind training and are often used not only as police dogs but also as service and search and rescue dogs!
PLEASE NOTE she will be spayed before adoption. There is a $100 deposit to hold her and the balance of the adoption fee is due on day of transport to you. Thank you so much for considering adoption and giving a homeless animal a home and family!
