Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Rip (born February 2022) is a handsome white and grey fellow. He is very timid at first, and needs someone who will have patience with him. He is a very good boy, just very cautious and doesn’t like a lot of commotion or loud noises. He would do best in a quieter home without dogs or small kids. He is a play machine!!! He loves to run around and chase his sister Beth, but he would definitely benefit from someone who will play with him on a regular. He likes to play with all kinds of toys. He likes wand toys that have feathers attached, and he will jump so high to try and catch them. His all time favorite toy is a wand toy that the string and actual toy part is broken off of. It literally just has the plastic wand part of the toy left. His foster parents call it “Rip’s stick” and it will definitely be going to his new home with him! For some reason he loves to play with the stick end of the toy. He’ll run all over the place trying to catch it! If you run it around him he will chase it in circles over and over again until he starts panting. You end up having to make him take a break until he calms down, because he will just keep going and going! He’s a very vocal cat and a lot of times he will speak when you call his name. He loves to lay on the cat tree in front of the window so he can see all the birds, animals, and people going by, so a window perch or cat tree in front of the window would be great for him. He is slowly starting to like pets more and more as time goes by. It might take a little time to earn his trust, but once you do it is so worth it. Rip is in a bonded pair with his sister, Beth so they must be adopted together.

‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯
We have an adoption application to learn a bit about the home our cats will be going to and the family's motivation for adoption and expectations about pet ownership. We also have an adoption contract, which includes a no declawing and indoor-only clause along with a vet promissory note that ensures you will continue with the medical care and spay/neuter if needed.
We DO NOT do any out of state adoptions except on the NC border on a case-by-case basis.
We require a donation of $120 for adoption of unaltered kittens with a PTV Contract. All kittens receive vaccine series and wormings as well as medical treatment as needed. The adopter is responsible for obtaining their rabies vaccine and spay/neuter if the kitten is not of age at the time of adoption. We can provide resources for low cost clinics that offer these services.
We ask a donation of $25 to adopt Career/barn cats.
We require a donation of at least $140 for adoption of Spayed/neutered cat.
Bonded pairs adoption donation is $200.
Sometimes we require rental checks or home inspections. We always have a Meet n Greet to make sure everyone gets along. We encourage bringing the whole family!

More about this rescue
Our mission is to improve the lives of displaced cats and reduce feral cat population in Hampton Roads by socializing outdoor-born and feral kittens for adoption into loving forever homes. We are a VDACS registered 501c3 nonprofit, founded in 2014 with over 60 foster homes.
Our heart is in TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return of ferals), where cats are fixed, vaccinated, ear tipped, and allowed to live out their lives without reproducing. We are advocates for advancing legal and social acceptance of TNR in Hampton Roads. Our unique feral kitten socialization program has a 90% success rate in socializing feral-born kittens to become loving, in-home pets.
We are always seeking fosters, volunteers, transporters, and trappers to join our team!
