We are absolutely shocked that our sweet girl Kiwi has been with us for 453 days. With her giant smile, adorably big ears, and loving personality, it’s hard to not fall in love with Kiwi! While she can be a little shy at first, Kiwi is very sweet and caring once she becomes comfortable around you. One of her favorite things to do is splash around in our pools- she loves the water! Kiwi is a very smart girl who is treat motivated and easily picks up on new skills. From what we have seen at the shelter, Kiwi needs to be the only pet in the home. She would thrive with a family who is ready to take her on plenty of adventures and give her all the love she deserves! Kiwi is a Terrier mix, weighs 43 pounds, and was born on 4/9/2019. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Kiwi must be an indoor dog. If you are interested in adopting Kiwi, please email bahshelter@yahoo.com. The Bulverde Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 1983 by Dolores Caldwell, BAHS is a no-kill shelter caring for up to 400 dogs and cats annually. The shelter resides on 3.25 acres of park-like land and houses indoor/outdoor kennels, a cattery, nursery/medical recovery building, agility fields, and fenced-in play yards.
BAHS is powered by volunteers and overseen by a Board of Directors. Our volunteers ensure the dogs and cats get plenty of exercise, playtime, and unlimited cuddles, love, and affection.
