My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nyiri (Nigh-ear-E) aka Ny, NyNy and Bubbles, is pit mix born in April 2021.
She is wonderful with people and children, even younger toddlers. She would most likely prefer to be the only canine in her home to soak up all the love from her people. She would do best in a home without another female dog, smaller dogs or cats.
Her favorite activity is snuggling up to her people. She literally has such a bubbly personality and when excited makes tons of cute noises.
Nyiri will require a home with fully fenced yard, she is not recommended for apartment living. Her ideal home would be with adults or adults and children over 5 (although exceptions might be made for the right home). Applications can be accessed at www.mikeyschance.com

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.

Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.

We depend on a network of volunteers and fosters for the care of our dogs. The dogs are fostered primarily in Tri-Cities, WA. We often have Meet 7 Greet events at Petsmart and Paws Natural Pet Emporium LLC both in Kennewick.

"Mikey's Chance" is a dog rescue organization organized under Washington State articles of Incorporation as a Non-profit Charity. We focus mainly on saving dogs that are at risk or on “Death Row” in shelters in our area, and placing them to great families. We work with individual adopters, private rescuers, and rescue organizations that share our values. All our dogs are up to date on shots, sterilized, and microchipped prior to adoption, and they are all carefully evaluated to ensure the best possible match with adopters.
