Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blacky, a 1.5-year-old Chihuahua. Needs an experienced owner. Home with a yard is preferable. Another dog in the home is preferable.

Little Blacky is a cute boy. He was rescued from the streets of Mexico and clearly has not had a great experience with humans. He is quite afraid. He loves his foster family, their two young kids, but is still afraid of the man of the house. It takes him quite some time to warm up to new people. Blacky needs someone who is willing to help him overcome his fear and who can be patient and understanding with him. Blacky loves to snuggle and lay on your lap, but it will take him time to get there with a new person. The outside world is also scary for Blacky. Walking on a leash scares him because there are so many unknowns to him. His foster family is working with him diligently and he is making progress but has a ways to go.

We hope to find Blacky someone to call his own so that he can learn to trust and thrive. His adoption fee is $395 and he is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
