Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marshal, Male, German Shepherd X, 6 years old, 57 lbs.
Meet Amazing Marshal a beautiful and brilliant boy. His foster mom says it’s incredible the way he listens to every word she says.
This boy is well trained, very responsive and quick to learn new things. He has outstanding leash skills and off-leash recall. He has impeccable manners in the house. Marshall is also crate and muzzle trained if needed.
Marshal is quite independent for such a sensitive guy. He isn’t anxious or destructive when left alone and he has no resource guarding issues of any kind.
Even though Marshal is a low energy guy, loving cuddles and laying near his people, he also loves walks and hikes. Sometimes he even gets the zoomies but doesn’t seem much interested in toys.
Marshal is a sensitive fella who needs confidence building. In his previous home, Marshal was excellent for his first 3 years. But when his new anxious dog sister came home, Marshal’s behaviour started to change as he fed off the other dogs energy. This has resulted in him, on occasion, being reactive to dogs and to people. Since being in his dog savvy foster home with a confident easygoing dog, Marshal is beginning to find his old self again.
Marshal is looking for a home with no children or cats but with patient loving people to carry on helping Marshal build his confidence, so he can be not just a good dog but a happy dog. These people will be rewarded with a truly amazing companion.
Marshal has been neutered, microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Marshal is $500.00.
